Akca*
Akca — a gentle soul who never stopped loving**
Akca is one of the cats we rescued from Nevşehir Municipality shelter. We had promised to take four… but leaving the others behind meant death, so four became eleven.
Like many there, Akca was once someone’s cat. Loved once, then abandoned — left on cold concrete without care. When she arrived, she carried a quiet sadness, but also something rare… a softness that never left her.
She was believed to be spayed. But just as she began to feel safe, we discovered she was pregnant. She was rushed into foster care and gave birth to five kittens through an emergency cesarean. She lost two of them in the first days… yet she continued to care for the three who survived with incredible patience and love.
Soon after, Akca was diagnosed with FIP. She is now undergoing treatment and is expected to fully recover. Even while fighting for her own life, she never stopped being a devoted mother.
Akca is calm, gentle, and deeply affectionate in her own quiet way. She doesn’t ask for much — she simply wants to be near you. She may be a little shy at first, but once she trusts, she forms a peaceful and lasting bond. She also gets along beautifully with other cats.
Akca has survived abandonment, loss, motherhood, and illness.
Now she deserves a life of safety, warmth, and love.
We are looking for someone who will finally give her that.

Personality:
Their true personalities are still hidden behind fear.
They are scared, cautious, and learning how to feel safe again. But even now—after everything they’ve been through—they lean into gentle hands, purr softly, and choose trust over fear.
Once they feel truly safe, their real selves will shine. And we know they will be extraordinary.
