Akca*
Akca’s story is one of quiet resilience.
Rescued from the harsh conditions of Nevşehir Municipality shelter, she arrived carrying both sadness and an incredible softness. Soon after, we discovered she was pregnant — she gave birth through an emergency cesarean, lost two of her babies, and lovingly raised the three who survived.
Akca is extremely cuddly, loyal, and affectionate. Despite everything she has been through, she remains gentle, calm, and full of quiet love.
Female
Bonibon
Bonibon’s story is heartbreaking. She has been abandoned twice.
After rescuing her, we found her a loving home where she spent 4 years being deeply loved and cared for. Bonibon is a sensitive, loyal cat who follows her humans from room to room, sleeps on pillows beside them, and simply wants to be close to the people she loves.
When a new baby joined the family, stress and urinary issues appeared. Although Bonibon and the baby were getting along well, her family eventually decided they could no longer keep her.
Now she is back at the pension, surrounded by many cats again. She is gentle and friendly, but the sadness in her is obvious. Once a cat experiences love and the comfort of a real home, returning to shelter life is incredibly hard.
Bonibon is currently under medical supervision, but we truly believe that in a calm and loving home, she will feel safe, happy, and secure again.
Male
Damali
Damali once survived on the busy streets of Istanbul, living cautiously and keeping his distance like many stray cats must to stay safe. When a kind feeder noticed he could no longer stand properly, she rushed him to a clinic where he spent six months fighting to recover.
Before returning him to the streets, she gave him one last chance by sharing his story — and by pure luck, we saw it. Now we hope to find Damali a safe home and a loving person who understands how special and deeply devoted tuxedo cats can be.
Male
Ginger
Ginger was rescued as a tiny one-month-old kitten, alone under a car during a cold and rainy Istanbul winter. What started as a short stay to warm him up and feed him turned into a lifelong promise to keep him safe.
Today, Ginger is a handsome, affectionate boy with a wonderful personality. He loves people, enjoys cuddles, and gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs. Beautiful inside and out, Ginger is the kind of cat who steals hearts wherever he goes and is now looking for the loving forever home he deserves.
Female
Green
Green came to us from the Nevşehir Government Shelter, where she seemed to have lost the joy of simply being a cat. With her emerald eyes and gentle soul, she is a calm, affectionate beauty who brings a quiet but deeply loving presence into a home. Green gets along wonderfully with other cats and would make a perfect second cat, asking for nothing more than a small corner on your sofa and someone to love her softly.
Male
Kosmo
Kosmo appeared at the rescue one quiet afternoon as if he had simply decided this was where he belonged. From the moment he arrived, tail high and amber eyes curious, he greeted the volunteers with head bumps and loud purrs, asking for cuddles instead of hiding.
Social, affectionate, and playful, Kosmo loves both people and other cats and quickly makes himself part of the family wherever he goes.
Kosmo didn’t just arrive at the rescue — he chose it.
Now he’s waiting to choose you.
Female
LouLou
Two cats were brutally attacked by dogs in a park. One was pregnant, both were barely alive.
We rushed them to safety. The mother underwent multiple surgeries, lost her tail, and can’t see from one eye—but her spirit never broke. She even adopted a freezing orphaned kitten and gave it life. We saved her… and she saved another.
Male
Mini
Mini is the youngest of five kittens born to Marmaray, a mother cat who gave birth beside the escalators of Bostancı Marmaray Station. He has grown up in sheltered spaces and has never experienced the outside world, which makes him best suited to life as an indoor cat. Mini is very affectionate and loves being close to people, often trying to climb onto laps or shoulders for cuddles. He has a gentle and easygoing personality and lives peacefully with other cats and dogs. Mini is now ready to find a loving home where he can share his sweet and social nature.
Female
Nikita
Niko & Nikita are two deeply bonded cats from the wildfire-stricken region of Hatay, Turkey. They once had a home, a family, and soft beds to sleep on — until the fire took everything. Their family, having lost it all, left them at a shelter, not knowing that shelters in Turkey often mean certain death. We rescued them and brought them to safety in Istanbul, but they still long for the warmth of a real home. All they have left is each other — now they need someone to give them a new beginning. We are ok with adoptions as bonded pair or as single cat.
Male
Ollie
Ollie is a stunning one-year-old British Shorthair who was heartbreakingly abandoned outside our cat pension in a carrier secured with zip ties. Despite losing the family he once trusted, Ollie has remained incredibly loving and affectionate.
With his plush ash-colored fur, striking golden eyes, and gentle personality, Ollie adores human companionship and is happiest when receiving attention and affection. He gets along well with other cats but dreams of a home where he can once again be someone's cherished companion.
Sweet, social, and full of love, Ollie is ready for the second chance he so deeply deserves.
Female
Pearl
Pearl’s story began with a surprise. Her mother, Akça, was rescued from the Nevşehir Municipal shelter after staff claimed she had already been spayed. Instead, shortly after arriving to safety, Akça gave birth to five tiny kittens — including little Pearl.
Born on March 12 and raised entirely in foster care, Pearl has known love and safety from the very beginning. But her journey was not without hardship. At only three weeks old, she and her siblings had to be bottle fed after their mother became sick with FIP. Tragically, two of the kittens did not survive.
Pearl did. And she has grown into a gentle, affectionate little girl with a calm and loving nature. She adores other cats, often grooming and cuddling with them, and loves curling up in laps after playtime. Curious, sweet, and full of soft affection, Pearl is now ready for a forever home of her own.
Male
Samba
Samba was born safely in our rescue and has spent his whole life surrounded by care, comfort, and other cats. While many of his siblings have already found their forever homes, Samba is still patiently waiting for his turn. A gentle and slightly shy little boy, Samba likes to take a moment to observe before joining in. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine through. Now three months old, Samba is ready to find a family of his own and discover what it feels like to be someone's beloved companion.
Female
Silver
Silver came to us from the Nevşehir shelter, carrying the quiet sadness of a cat who had almost given up. Sick, weak, and withdrawn, she moved as if she wished to disappear, asking only for a little peace.
We don’t know what she endured before we found her, but it was clear life had been unkind. Taking him out of that place felt like lifting a small soul out of darkness.
With time, care, and treatment, Silver slowly recovered. Today she is healthy again — and all she needs now is a loving home and a kind person to show her that life can still be gentle.
Male
Socks
Socks came to us from the Nevşehir shelter, a place where many cats struggle simply to survive. Quiet and gentle, he carried the calm sadness of a cat who had seen too much and learned to stay invisible.
With care and safety, Socks slowly began to trust again. Today he shows his true nature — affectionate, loving, and happiest when he can be held in the arms of his person.
Now Socks is ready for the life he has always deserved: a peaceful home and someone who will never let him feel alone again.
Female
Tekila
Tekila was one of the neighborhood cats we cared for until one day we noticed she was sick. At the vet we learned that her fragile little body simply wasn’t made for the harsh winter outside. After she healed, we couldn’t bring ourselves to return her to the streets — and Tekila quickly showed us we had made the right decision with her cuddly, affectionate nature.
Now she is safe, loved, and ready for a warm forever home.
Male
White Tiger
While rushing to catch a train, Nesli spotted a tiny kitten frozen on the railway tracks and climbed down without hesitation to save him. That frightened little soul, who hid under her arm the entire way to safety, is now Tiger — a warm and affectionate cat ready for his forever home.
Female
Biskit
Meet Biskit
Biskit is a delicate 4–5 month old tabby-calico kitten with wide, curious eyes and the sweetest gentle nature. A little shy at first, she likes to observe quietly until she feels safe — and then her loving personality blossoms.
Her tiny paws start kneading soft “biscuits” (which is how she got her name), and she asks for attention with the softest little *maow*.
With a little patience and love, Biskit becomes an affectionate, devoted companion who will quietly steal your heart.
Male
Cheddar
Cheddar was abandoned in a park by someone who thought parks are heaven for cats. But for a young house cat in a huge city like Istanbul, the streets are frightening and unforgiving. When we found him, he was sick, coughing, and struggling with a severe respiratory infection.
Today, Cheddar is healthy again — and absolutely impossible not to love. This gorgeous boy is full of affection, cuddles, headbutts, and joy. He adores people, gets along beautifully with cats, dogs, and children, and brings warmth wherever he goes.
Cheddar is the kind of cat who lets the sunshine into your home.
Female
Fig Junior *
My name is Little Fig, and it carries a mystery. Nesli found me high up in a giant fig tree, where my two sisters had already passed. No one knows how we got there, but I was alive—crying out with all my strength. Nesli heard me, and maybe you will too. Will you be the one to give me the home I’ve been waiting for?
Male
Goldie
Goldie was never truly a stray. When we first saw him behind the shelter bars, he looked like a soul who had already given up on life. Whatever he experienced during his 7 years left a quiet sadness in his tired eyes.
For the past year, Goldie has been with us, showing us what a gentle and grateful soul he is. Calm, kind, and peaceful, he asks for very little — just safety, softness, and someone to love him again. He is the kind of cat who brings quiet warmth into a home and loves deeply in his own silent way.
Female
KK
KK has the strange sadness of a cat who once expected life to be different.
Not dramatic sadness. Not the loud kind. The quiet kind you notice when he watches people for a little too long, or when he settles beside you as if he already knows how it feels to belong somewhere — and how it feels to lose it.
He moves through life gently. No fights, no chaos, no need to prove himself. While other cats compete for attention, KK simply waits, hoping someone will eventually notice him for who he is. And once you do, it becomes impossible not to love him.
There is something deeply human about KK. The way he looks at you when you speak to him. The way he chooses closeness without demanding it. The way he seems grateful for ordinary things — a soft blanket, a calm voice, a hand reaching toward him kindly.
KK does not need saving from the streets anymore. We already did that part.
What he needs now is someone willing to rescue him from the loneliness of being overlooked.
Female
Lola
At only four weeks old, Lola was found alone in the world, far too small to fend for herself. Wrapped in warmth, kindness, and the gentle guidance of older cats, she grew from a fragile baby into a little soul full of light.
Now four months old, she is ready to be cherished — to finally belong to someone who will love her for the rest of her life.
Male
Louie
Louie came into our lives on a day that could have been his last. After testing FeLV-positive, his adopter brought him to a veterinary clinic to be euthanized. We happened to be there for another rescue and could not let that happen. FeLV is not a death sentence, and many cats live long, happy lives with the virus.
That day, we left the clinic with two cats instead of one.
Louie is a big, handsome boy with beautiful green eyes, a thick tomcat neck, and the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He adores people and has so much love to give. Sadly, he has spent far too long living in a cage while waiting for someone to see beyond his diagnosis.
Louie was given a second chance once. Now he is looking for the family who will give him the life he deserves.
Male
Marty
Marty is a beautiful soul that were taken out from an awful shelter in Central Anatolia. Marty and his friends in the cage, were never “strays” to begin with.
Each of them once belonged to someone, then quietly disappeared into a shelter where survival was never guaranteed. We were meant to save four—but fate brought us eleven, because turning away was not an option. They arrived fragile, frightened, and carrying the weight of abandonment, yet still holding on. Today they are safe. And now, their real story can finally begin.
Female
Mummy*
Born on the streets, this sweet calico was taken in for a safe birth—but we couldn’t let her go. Her kind and gentle nature stole our hearts. Now a young mother, she deserves a loving home where she’ll never have to face the streets again. She’s ready to bring warmth and joy to a lucky family!
Male
Niko
Niko & Nikita are two deeply bonded cats from the wildfire-stricken region of Hatay, Turkey. They once had a home, a family, and soft beds to sleep on — until the fire took everything. Their family, having lost it all, left them at a shelter, not knowing that shelters in Turkey often mean certain death. We rescued them and brought them to safety in Istanbul, but they still long for the warmth of a real home. All they have left is each other — now they need someone to give them a new beginning. We are ok with adoptions as bonded pair or as single cat.
Male
Pasha
Pasha was born on March 12 after his mother, Akça, was rescued from the Nevşehir Municipal shelter where she had been incorrectly marked as spayed. Instead, she surprised us with five tiny kittens — including this beautiful little boy.
Raised safely in foster care, Pasha’s earliest weeks were filled with both love and uncertainty. When his mother developed FIP, the kittens had to be bottle fed from just three weeks old. Pasha spent the longest time being hand raised, and maybe because of that, he became deeply attached to people. Two of his siblings sadly did not survive, but Pasha continued growing stronger every day.
Today, he is a playful, affectionate kitten with striking bright blue eyes and a loud, nonstop purr. He adores other cats, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up on your chest while rubbing his face against yours for attention. Curious, social, and incredibly loving, Pasha is ready to bring warmth and companionship into a forever home.
Female
Princess
Princess is a 2-year-old rescue cat with the most stunning bright green eyes and a heart overflowing with love.
She was rescued from the difficult conditions of the Nevşehir municipal shelter, where affectionate cats like Princess often struggle the most. Despite everything she has been through, she has remained unbelievably trusting, gentle, and deeply connected to people.
Princess is the definition of a loving companion. She begins purring almost the moment you touch her and seems happiest simply being close to someone who will give her attention and affection. Whether she is curling up beside you, asking for pets, or softly following you around the house, Princess has a way of making every space feel warmer.
She is looking for a forever home where she can finally experience the comfort, safety, and love she has always deserved.
Female
Safir
We met Safir and her babies on a busy street where she was desperately trying to survive while protecting her little family. She was extremely skinny, weak, and suffering from mastitis, yet still incredibly affectionate with people, making us believe she had once belonged to someone before being abandoned. Safir was hospitalised, underwent surgery, and her babies were bottle-fed by us while she recovered.
After the whole family healed and was sterilised, Safir was released again — but she kept returning to our door, sneaking back inside whenever she could. It became clear that Safir was never meant for street life. She is a cuddly, affectionate, and intelligent cat who truly belongs in a loving home, close to people she can trust and love deeply.
Male
Sans*
Sans’ story is marked by unimaginable cruelty — and extraordinary forgiveness.
He was found on the streets of Istanbul with a shattered jaw after suffering severe human abuse. Multiple surgeries saved his life, yet despite everything, Sans never stopped loving people. He still leans into every touch, follows humans everywhere for comfort, and purrs endlessly as if his heart refuses to hold onto fear.
Today, Sans is one of the gentlest cats imaginable — affectionate, trusting, cuddly, and deeply people-oriented. He loves children, adores human closeness, and simply wants to be loved back. Sans is regressive FeLV+ and also suffers from nasal polyps affecting his breathing, but after months waiting in a veterinary clinic cage, he still patiently hopes someone will finally choose him.
Male
Teddy
Teddy is a 1-year-old male British Shorthair with stunning blue eyes, soft grey markings, and a personality that is impossible not to love.
After being abandoned by his owner, Teddy ended up in the harsh conditions of the Nevşehir municipal shelter. Having once known the comfort of a home, shelter life has been especially difficult for this sensitive, people-oriented boy.
Teddy’s biggest wish is simple: love, affection, and a calm home where he can finally feel safe again. He adores cuddles, follows people around for attention, and “talks” sweetly throughout the day. He forms deep bonds with his humans and loves being close to them.
Now Teddy is looking for a loving forever home where he can finally leave his sadness behind and be cherished the way he deserves.
