Female
Ayla
Ayla is one of six Kangal puppies who were abandoned at our gates in Gebze at just 3 months old — hungry, scared, and alone. Despite her difficult start, Ayla has remained incredibly gentle and sweet.
She is the calmest of her siblings, quietly observing the world with her deep, thoughtful eyes. There’s a peacefulness about Ayla that makes everyone fall in love with her instantly.
Now she’s waiting for a loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.
Male
Basty
Basty was only 4 months old when we rescued him from a death shelter. His back leg had been severely damaged due to human cruelty, and despite surgery, he never fully regained its use.
But Basty never gave up. He adapted incredibly well and grew into one of the happiest, most affectionate dogs in our rescue. He loves people, dogs, kids, cuddles, and life itself. Loyal, gentle, and full of love, Basty is the kind of companion who leaves a mark on your heart forever.
Male
Bobby & Buddy
Meet Buddy & Bobby — two souls, one heart. Since the day they were born, these sweet brothers have never known life without each other. They’ve faced every moment side by side, finding comfort, courage, and joy in their unbreakable bond.
Buddy & Bobby are searching for a forever home where they can remain together – could your heart have room for twice the love?
Male
Dane
Dane is one of the lucky souls who made it out alive from the Bursa Osmangazi shelter tragedy.
When he first arrived to us, he was weak, sick, and exhausted from everything he had endured. But little by little, Dane showed us his quiet strength. Today, he is a gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal boy who melts into every touch and looks at people with pure trust.
Soft-hearted, handsome, and full of love, Dane is ready to leave his painful past behind and finally discover what a real home feels like.
Male
Dino
Born in our shelter after we rescued his mum, Dino has never known what it feels like to truly belong to someone. This joyful little boy is energetic, affectionate, wonderful with other dogs, and the kind of dog who turns every walk into a happy little journey. With his bright spirit and loyal heart, Dino has everything to become the perfect family companion.
Female
Ela
Ela is a 6-month-old puppy with beautiful honey hazel eyes and a very gentle soul. Rescuing her from the shelter was not easy — she kept escaping and hiding from shelter employees, already terrified of people at such a young age. But when we finally reached her, she simply let herself be held, as if she was too tired to keep fighting.
Ela arrived to us severely emaciated and frightened, but underneath the fear is an incredibly loving puppy. Once she feels safe, she melts into affection, adores other dogs and cats, and just wants to be close to those she trusts.
Female
Eylul
Eylul trusted with her whole heart—until the ones she loved left her behind. She was kicked out from a red car in busy streets of Rize according to eye witnesses. Afterwards, she ran after every passing car, risking her life dodging traffic, hoping she finds her loved ones in one of the cars passing by. She couldn`t.
Now safe, her gentle spirit still craves affection. Eylul is ready for a family who will truly deserve her unwavering devotion.
Female
Hatay Mummy& 9 babies
In Hatay, one of the hardest places in Turkey to survive as a stray animal, this tiny mother dog was trying to keep her babies alive.
Just 9–10 kilos herself, skinny and exhausted, she still stood protectively over her puppies while they searched for milk from a body that had almost nothing left to give. No safety. No warmth. No future waiting for them there.
And yet, she is one of the gentlest dogs we have ever met. Her babies are still nursing.
We cannot change where they came from. But maybe, together, we can change where their story ends.
Female
Kahve
Kahve is one of the abandoned Kangal puppies who arrived at our gate already carrying scars from human cruelty. Like her sister Roo, her ears had been cut while she was still just a baby.
With her deep, thoughtful eyes and serious expression, Kahve looks more like a tiny wise creature than a puppy. But behind that intense look hides a playful, sweet girl who loves running after her siblings and enjoying life. She is growing into a strong and intelligent Kangal with a very special soul.
Male
Lumi
Lumi is not a special breed — just a quiet, forgotten dog we found in one of the overcrowded municipal shelters. Blind in one eye and overlooked by everyone, he stood silently behind the bars while others fought for attention. We always try to save the dogs no one chooses, the ones who seem to have lost all hope. Lumi is one of them — a gentle soul still waiting to learn that life can be kind.
Female
Nazli (M.)
Nazlı is a gentle soul who spent her life on the streets of Istanbul, quietly winning the hearts of everyone who met her. Known for her affectionate nature and soft spirit, she loves being close to people and asking for attention with the sweetest little paw tap. In January 2025, her life changed when a motorcycle ran over her foot while she was resting under a parked car for warmth, leaving her with a permanent limp. Despite everything she has endured, Nazlı remains incredibly loving, hopeful, and ready to give her whole heart to the family who will finally give her the safe home she deserves.
Male
Parla
Parla is the kind of dog who wants to be invisible. Quiet, deeply sensitive, and still learning that the world can be safe. When you reach out to pet him, he flinches as if he is waiting to be beaten instead of loved. After everything he has endured, he is only now beginning to believe that kindness can exist for him too.
Female
Roo
Roo was dumped at our gate together with her Kangal siblings when she was just a tiny baby. What broke our hearts most was seeing that someone had already cut her ears — there was still blood on them when we found her.
But Roo never let pain steal her joy.
Despite her serious little face, she is full of life, love and playfulness. Running, playing and cuddling seem to come naturally to her. Roo is growing into a beautiful Kangal girl with a strong spirit and a soft heart.
Female
Scarlet
Some dogs carry a story you don’t fully understand at first glance—you only feel it when they look at you.
Scarlet grew up around İstinye Park, a large shopping mall in Istanbul, where volunteers fed and cared for her. She was known for her calm, gentle nature, but later became the target of repeated cruelty, including attacks from other dogs and severe mistreatment.
One day, a kind woman witnessed what was happening and stepped in to save her, urgently reaching out for help.
Since then, Scarlet has been safe with us—sterilized, protected, and finally at peace. Despite everything she endured, she remains a sweet, loving, and innocent soul who still chooses trust over fear.
Female
Tahin
Tahin is one of the happiest and friendliest dogs at our place. A beautiful setter mix with a constantly wagging tail and a smiling face, she loves everyone she meets and brings such a joyful energy wherever she goes.
After being abandoned at a shelter by her adopters, we took her with us before her cheerful spirit faded away — and thankfully, it never did. Tahin is playful, affectionate, amazing with people, and would be a perfect fit for a family with children.
She is simply a happy girl who deserves a happy ending.
Female
Trinity
Trinity is a loving, gentle dog ready for a safe and caring home. Despite a heartbreaking past of losing her babies to unkind humans, she remains affectionate and trusting—leaning in for pets, offering her paw, and seeking connection. With the safety of a home, Trinity will become a deeply loyal and devoted companion.
Female
Xena
Jim Chee and Xena are a mother and son who spent years chained in an industrial car maintenance area, surviving on almost nothing and growing up without love, comfort, or kindness. Their lives changed after a brutal beating nearly cost them their lives and they were finally rescued.
Today, they are safe with us, but the emotional scars remain. Jim Chee still tries to trust people, while Xena carries deep fear and keeps her distance from humans. We are looking for a very special home willing to give these gentle souls the patience, safety, and compassion they have never truly known — and help them finally discover that life can be built on love instead of fear.
Female
Popsi (adopted)
Popsi almost lost her life for chasing a chicken.
In a small village in Nevşehir, her adopter decided she should be shot. Thankfully, his wife reached out to us before it was too late.
After hearing her story, we expected Popsi to arrive terrified or aggressive.
Instead, she turned out to be pure softness.
She loves cats, dogs, and every person she meets. Quiet, gentle, and impossibly sweet, Popsi has not a single bad bone in her tiny body. If she chased that chicken, we are certain it was only to play.
Now all Popsi needs is a safe home where she will finally be loved instead of punished.
Female
Arya
Meet Arya, our latest rescue from Nevsehir government shelter who was shivering behind cold pens. Arya is tiny in size, but huge in love. She is the kind of dog who steals hearts within seconds. With her adorable little face, playful spirit, and endless affection for people, she brings joy wherever she goes. Friendly with cats, dogs, and everyone she meets, Arya is a loving companion who simply wants to be close to her humans and shower them with love every day.
Female
Aslan
Meet Aslan… one of the abandoned Kangal puppies who arrived at our place with his siblings
Unlike his more outgoing brothers and sisters, Aslan is a little more independent and thoughtful. He takes his time to trust people, prefers observing before jumping in, and so far seems happiest spending time with his siblings — or enjoying a good meal, especially if chicken is involved.
Aslan will grow into a big, powerful dog, so a home with a garden would be ideal for him. Like many Kangals, he carries the loyal, intelligent and deeply protective nature this special breed is known for. Once he bonds with his people, he will be the kind of dog who would do anything to keep his family safe.
Female
Barbie
Rescued from a heartbreaking situation where her future looked uncertain, Barbie hasn’t let her past dim her spirit. She’s still bursting with joy, overflowing with love, and ready to brighten every room she enters. Energetic, affectionate, and irresistibly playful, Barbie has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet her.
Male
Benji
We saw a heartbreaking Facebook post: Benji’s adopters were threatening to leave him at a shelter. In Turkey, shelters are often a death sentence.
We hoped it was only words. It wasn’t. They abandoned him there without looking back.
We rushed to save him just in time. The joy on his face when he realized he was safe again was unforgettable.
Benji is a sweet, medium-sized border collie mix with a gentle soul and playful energy. He loves people, kids, other dogs, and especially playing fetch.
After everything he’s been through, Benji deserves a family who will never abandon him again.
Give Benji the second chance he deserves.
Female
Cookie
Cookie was born into tragedy. Her abused stray mother survived just long enough to bring her babies safely into the world… and then she was gone.
Cookie grew up in a shelter instead of a home, yet somehow she became one of the softest, sweetest souls you could ever meet...Calm, loving and gentle, she has the kind of presence that makes you instantly feel at peace.
Almost one year has passed, and Cookie is still waiting for someone to finally choose her.
Not because she isn’t wonderful. Simply because nobody has seen her yet.
Male
Dean
Dean is one of the survivors of the Bursa Osmangazi shelter massacre — rescued from certain death just in time.
At first, he was so sick that we feared he would not make it. But Dean had other plans. Today, he is a strong, loving, and unforgettable boy full of personality. He adores human attention, loves playtime, lives for belly rubs, and would make an amazing companion and protector for the right family.
A big soul with an even bigger heart.
Female
Ekim
Some dogs ask loudly for help. Ekim did not. She stood quietly outside the Ministry of Justice building, looking lost among hundreds of people passing by without noticing her fear.
Today, Ekim is safe with us and has shown herself to be an incredibly gentle, noble, and loyal dog. Despite her large size, she has the softest character — friendly with people, good with other dogs, and simply grateful for kindness.
A beautiful purebred girl still waiting for someone to finally choose her.
Male
Eldar
Give a chance to senior dogs! They are the ones noone asks for... Eldar was the old, forgotten Kangal no one expected to leave the shelter — but we saw the sorrow in his eyes and chose him.
When he realized he was finally free, his joy was overwhelming, and his gratitude was unmistakable.
He’s wise, gentle, and loyal — a noble soul who deserves a quiet garden and a heart to call home.
Female
Fuji
When we met Fuji, she had already stopped believing anyone would save her. She was surviving quietly in a cruel government shelter, trying to stay invisible.
Even now, Fuji keeps her distance. She doesn’t want to be touched yet. She watches us carefully from afar, like a lonely little wolf still carrying her past on her shoulders.
But every day, she comes one step closer.
And for Fuji, that is huge.
Male
Jim Chee
Male
Kont
Kont's story is one of both heartbreak and hope. He survived the brutal streets of Bursa and escaped death at a municipal shelter where hundreds of animals were killed in horrifying conditions. Despite all he endured, Kont remains a gentle, loving soul who adores people and other dogs. Now, he’s waiting for a kind heart to give him the peaceful life he’s always deserved.
Male
Lucky
Lucky was born after we rescued his abused pregnant mother from the streets of Istanbul. He lost both his mum and one sibling as just a tiny puppy, yet somehow grew into one of the happiest, most loving dogs.
Friendly with other dogs and always craving affection, Lucky has so much life and joy inside him. He loves running freely, giving hugs, and being close to people. But this young boy is slowly growing up behind shelter bars when what he truly needs is a home to finally start his real life.
Female
Mango
One morning in Gebze, we opened our gate and found six tiny Kangal puppies left there. Just babies. No mother around. Hungry enough to throw themselves at the food bowls the moment they saw them. One of them was Mango.
She was only around three months old, but there was something unusually sad in her eyes. The way she looks at people feels older somehow — like she is still trying to understand what happened to her and why she ended up abandoned at such a young age.
She comes close slowly, as if she wants to trust you, but you can see the hesitation in her at the same time. Like part of her is still unsure whether humans are safe. It is heartbreaking to see that kind of doubt in such a young puppy.
We hope one day Mango finds someone who looks into those thoughtful eyes and sees exactly what we see.
Female
Odlek
Odlek came from Sultangazi Municipality Shelter, carrying deep fear from a past we may never fully know. She trembles around people and avoids eye contact, as if trying to disappear. Yet behind that fear is a gentle soul waiting to feel safe again. With patience, understanding, and kindness, Odlek has the potential to blossom into the loving dog she was always meant to be.
Female
Sans
Sans carries a name that means *luck*, yet life has been anything but kind to her. Coming from Sultangazi Municipality Shelter, she lives with deep fear and little trust in people. When touched, she gently closes her eyes and lowers her head, as if expecting pain instead of kindness.
Despite this, Sans remains a peaceful and gentle dog who gets along well with other dogs. She is simply waiting for the one person who will show her patience, kindness, and the safety she has never known.
Female
Smiley
Smiley is a gentle, affectionate dog who still believes in love despite being abandoned and left to face a heartbreaking fate as a banned breed in Turkey. True to her name, she is sweet, peaceful, and adores cuddles and soft places to curl up. She gets along well with everyone and carries no aggression, only a quiet hope for safety and care. Smiley is looking for a loving home where she can finally feel secure and deeply cherished again.
Male
Van Gogh*
Meet Van Gogh, once a house dog—now rescued from the brutal attacks he faced daily at Van Shelter. A gentle soul who couldn’t even eat without being harmed, saved thanks to a kind-hearted volunteer and our quick response. We brought him to safety in Istanbul and promised him a life filled with love, not fear.
Male
Yabba (M.)
Yabba once knew what it meant to be safe. He was found as a puppy with an injured leg and raised in a home where he learned love, routine, and care. But at only seven months old, he was abandoned and forced to face a life on the streets he was never prepared for. Since then, Yabba has struggled to survive and has been injured several times, yet he has never lost his trusting and affectionate nature. He remains a joyful, social dog who loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs—especially females—and finds happiness in simple things like playing fetch or chewing on a bone. Yabba still remembers what a home feels like, and he is waiting for a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves, forever.
