Aiko (adopted)
Aiko, Sophie, and Akira were born to a beautiful feral mama we called *Wild Rose*. She cared for them devotedly before returning to the freedom she longed for, trusting us to keep her babies safe — and she still visits from time to time before disappearing into the wind again.
Aiko, a long-haired tabby with the softest fur, is pure tenderness. He loves toys, naps, good food, and above all, affection — melting into loud purrs the moment you hold him.
He has so much love to give.
Will you be the one to receive it?

Alaca (adopted)
They were never “strays” to begin with.
Each of them once belonged to someone, then quietly disappeared into a shelter where survival was never guaranteed. We were meant to save four—but fate brought us eleven, because turning away was not an option. They arrived fragile, frightened, and carrying the weight of abandonment, yet still holding on. Today they are safe. And now, their real story can finally begin.

Aster (adopted)
Meet Aster, a beautiful tabby-and-white girl with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection. She’s a true purring machine who loves following her humans around, supervising kitchen activities (especially breakfast!), and turning everyday moments into little adventures.
Aster is affectionate, lively, and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Sterilized and ready for her forever home, she is simply waiting for the family who will fall in love with her bright eyes, gentle purr, and joyful personality.

Biyikli* (adopted)
Bıyıklı first came to our cat pension as a beloved guest, but after only one month her adopter decided she no longer wanted her and asked for her to be released. Knowing how harsh life on the streets of Istanbul can be, we simply couldn’t let that happen.
Since then, Bıyıklı has been waiting with us for the home she truly deserves. She is still a little unsure and sensitive, but behind those thoughtful eyes is a cat ready to love deeply once she feels safe.
All she needs now is a patient person who will show her that this time, her home will be forever.

Bosco (adopted)
Bosco looks like a royal cat — calm, attentive, and always meeting your eyes as if he’s asking you a question. We found him in a remote forest after a tip-off about an abandoned dog. He hadn’t eaten in who knows how long, but now he’s safe and slowly opening up again. What he needs next is a home where he finally feels truly chosen.

Fig (adopted)
My name is Fig, and it carries a mystery. Nesli found me high up in a giant fig tree, where my two sisters had already passed. No one knows how we got there, but I was alive—crying out with all my strength. Nesli heard me, and maybe you will too. Will you be the one to give me the home I’ve been waiting for?

Grigio (adopted)
Grigio rescued himself.
He started as the quiet little cat knocking on our door for food. When winter came and he got sick, we brought him inside “just until he recovered.”
But Grigio had already decided.
He was never meant for the cold garden. He was meant for warmth, for laps, for love. The moment you sit down, he curls into you and purrs as if he has finally found where he belongs.
He didn’t just enter our pension — he entered our hearts.

Hella & Nyx (adopted)
Hella and Nyx are playful, curious siblings who have left their difficult start behind and turned into affectionate lap cats that fill every room with joy. Their strong bond makes them inseparable, and we hope to find them a forever home together. Thanks to their rescuer Talke, who chose compassion during a holiday in Çanakkale, they now have the chance for a brighter future.

Hope (adopted)
Once a cherished neighborhood cat, I knew only kindness—until the night I trusted the wrong hands. Instead of love, I was met with cruelty, beaten and left for dead. Yet, despite it all, my heart still believes in goodness. I refuse to let the past define me—I still trust, I still love, and I’m waiting for a home that will finally prove me right.

Marmy (the Light) (adopted)
Marmy is Marmaray’s baby, born safely in our care and raised indoors. At six months old, he is a gentle, affectionate boy with a very soft heart. He gets along beautifully with other cats and has the sweetest, calm nature.
Having never known the outside world, Marmy should stay indoors or be introduced very carefully. He is still discovering life — and ready to grow up in a loving home of his own.

Mila (adopted)
Meet Mila – just 7 months old, yet already a survivor of cruelty. Found at a bus station unable to move, vets discovered 3 of her tiny paws had been deliberately broken.
With love and care, Mila has healed. Today she runs, jumps, and plays with no limits – a little miracle full of life and hope.

Monroe (adopted)
Monroe’s story begins with a contrast — while his brave mother had survived the hard life of the streets, Monroe himself never had to. His mum, one of the most beautiful yet fiercely feral cats we’ve ever met, chose our pension garden as the safest place to give birth. Among her four stunning kittens, Monroe was the only one who wasn’t wild at heart. When spring arrived and the others chose their freedom, Monroe stayed. Calm, affectionate, and unlike his siblings, he chose people — and we promised to find him the loving home he deserves.

Pam (adopted)
Pam was abandoned — but rescued before she ever had to see the inside of a shelter.
With her silky beauty and naturally sweet character, she has become the quiet star of our pension. Gentle, loving, and graceful, she leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.
Now Pam is ready for a forever home where she will be valued and never left behind again.

Poncik (adopted)
Poncik was born into heartbreak after his mother, a British Shorthair, was abandoned while pregnant. We took in the whole family—mama and her four kittens. The others quickly found homes, but Poncik was left behind. He’s a gentle, loving tuxedo boy who deserves just as much. Now fully vaccinated and growing up in a clinic cage, he’s waiting for a chance to be a kitten again—free, safe, and loved.

Robotte (adopted)
Robotte’s life changed in a single moment when a dog attack left him injured and in pain. Rescued just in time and rushed into surgery, he survived — though nerve damage in his neck gave him a slightly stiff front paw and a unique little “soldier walk.”
But Robotte never lost his spirit. Playful, affectionate, and deeply loving, he cuddles with other cats, adores toys, and seeks out human touch. His small difference only makes him more special — and anyone who truly sees him will instantly understand how extraordinary he is.

Shash (adopted)
Sash was once bought from a pet shop as a gift for a child and grew up believing he had a forever home. One day, his adopter brought him to a shelter in Istanbul and simply walked away, leaving Sash behind in a small box, too frightened even to meow. We happened to witness this moment and stepped in before Sash could disappear into a municipal shelter — places where cats often go in but rarely come out.
Life at our cat pension was overwhelming for him fragile and shy nature, so we placed him in a foster home where he could feel safe again. Sadly, he now has to return, and we know how scary it will be for him to be surrounded by many cats.
We hope someone will see the gentle, beautiful soul he is and open their heart and home to Sash.

Snow (adopted)
Snow is a deaf beauty who was rescued from a dark, overcrowded shelter in Nevşehir — abandoned, scared, and covered in matted fur. This beautiful long-haired Scottish Fold is still learning to trust after being let down by the people he once relied on. He needs a patient, loving home where he can finally feel safe again.

Zara (adopted)
Meet Zara
Zara is a stunning tortoiseshell girl with captivating eyes and a wonderfully affectionate nature. She appeared at our rescue one day looking for warmth and quickly stole everyone’s heart with her love for cuddles and human company. Gentle, charming, and full of warmth, Zara is now hoping to find a forever home where she can share her love every day.

Akira (adopted)
Aiko, Sophie, and Ouji were born to a beautiful feral mama we called Wild Rose. She cared for her babies devotedly before returning to the freedom she longed for, trusting us to keep them safe — and she still visits from time to time before disappearing into the wind again.
Akira is the calmest and most relaxed of the little family. A soft, gentle soul, he begins to purr the very moment you touch him and never seems to have “enough” of affection. Quietly loving and endlessly sweet, he is happiest simply being close.

Anfisa* (adopted)
Anfisa is a gentle soul who has been through so much — she lost her tail in an accident, was once adopted, but heartbreakingly ended up back on the streets after being attacked by another cat. Yana lives in UK and she is the one who rescued her from the dangers of street life and placed her in safe foster care in Istanbul with Paws of Hope Rescue Turkey. All Anfisa needs now is a forever home with someone who will never let her down again.

Fade (adopted)
Fade – the most affectionate soul in the whole shelter.
She once had her inseparable sister Jade by her side, but Jade has been adopted. Now Fade is left behind, and it breaks our hearts.Every time someone visits, she climbs onto them, gently wrapping her paws around them as if to say, “Please take me too.”
She lives for cuddles, for love, for a chance to belong. It’s impossible not to fall for her sweet, clingy charm. She’s not asking for much—just a place to call home.

Giallo (adopted)
Meet Giallo — the cat with a dog’s heart. Once a home cat, Giallo was hit by a car after ending up on the streets of Istanbul. He recovered beautifully, and we quickly saw he was too special to ever go back outside. Loyal, affectionate, and always by your side — Giallo follows you, talks to you, and loves unconditionally. He’s truly one of a kind. Whoever adopts him will be the luckiest.

Honey (Balgoz)
A student called us in tears. Her Tunisian friend had been deported, leaving behind a dog and two cats. The landlord planned to send them to Esenyurt Shelter.
Logic said no. Our hearts said yes.
That’s how Honey was saved — at the very last moment.
Despite everything, she is pure sweetness. Gentle, cuddly, and not shy at all. She walks straight into your arms, her golden eyes glowing like real honey — warm and full of trust.
Honey is ready for a family who will love her as much as she loves back.

Liora (adopted)
Liora is one of those rare souls whose eyes tell his whole story. We found him in a remote forest where someone had abandoned several helpless cats. Most were frightened and unwell — left with no chance to survive on their own. Liora was one of the lucky ones we could save.
Today he is healthy, but the sadness of those days still lingers gently in his blue eyes.
We named him Liora, “my light,” because even in that dark place, he stood out with her quiet, glowing spirit.
He is ready for a home where his light can finally grow brighter.

Loki (adopted)
Loki is a Siamese — a breed known for deep, almost dog-like loyalty. They choose their person and love them wholeheartedly.
Seeing him in Nevşehir Shelter was heartbreaking. A sensitive, devoted cat like Loki did not belong there, so we brought him to safety.
He arrived sick, as many abandoned cats do, but his treatment is ongoing and he is expected to recover soon.
Behind his strong appearance is a fragile soul who just needs one person to call his own.
Let’s give him that chance.

Luca (adopted)
Luca was just a tiny baby when we rescued him, and he quickly found a loving home. But after 5 months, he was heartbreakingly returned due to allergies. Now back at the pension, he's stressed and struggling to adjust. Luca is a gentle, cat-friendly boy who just needs a quiet home to feel safe again. Could you be his fresh start?

Miso (adopted)
Miso is one of Marmaray’s kittens, born beside the escalators of Bostancı Marmaray Station. She is a very gentle and fragile little cat with a sweet, sensitive nature. Because the other cats tended to overwhelm her, she is currently staying safely at our caretaker’s home where she can enjoy a calm environment. Miso would thrive in a quiet, loving home where her soft and affectionate personality can truly blossom.

Mori (adopted)
Mori has a quiet, unsure look about him — you notice it as soon as he meets your eyes.
We went into a remote forest after hearing a dog had been abandoned there. The dog wasn’t there anymore… but we found several frightened, sick cats who had clearly been left behind. We brought all of them to safety.
Mori was one of them.
He’s healthy now and finally in a safe place, but he still has that look of a cat trying to understand where he is and why he ended up there. He’s friendly with both people and other cats, just a little cautious at first. He’s scared, but you can see he wants to trust — and with time, he will.

Ouji (Prens) (adopted)
Ouji is the friendliest cat in our pension — always the first to greet you, rub against your legs, and ask to be picked up.
After life on the streets, he truly values safety and human closeness. Charming, affectionate, and handsome, he is ready to become a loving home cat.
Ouji also gets along very well with other cats, making him a wonderful choice — even as a second cat.

Picasso (adopted)
Picasso is special — both in her striking coat and in her character.
A Siamese mix, she was clearly once someone’s house cat. When we found her, she had recently given birth, desperately searching and crying for kittens who were no longer there. It was heartbreaking to witness.
We brought her to safety, and since then she has shown her true nature: gentle, affectionate, calm, and very intelligent — with that classic Siamese awareness and sensitivity.
Picasso is a graceful, loving cat who deserves a secure home where she can finally feel at peace.

Poppy * (adopted)
Poppy’s life began in hardship — rescued from Nevşehir after losing his sick, malnourished mother, he was raised by a foster cat who saved his tiny life. Today, he has grown into a calm, affectionate, and gentle boy who gets along beautifully with other cats and longs for the warmth of a real home.

Sophie (adopted)
Aiko, Sophie, and Akira were born to a stunning feral mama we lovingly called Wild Rose. She cared for them for two months, but the wild still lived strongly in her heart. When her instincts pulled her back to freedom, we promised her babies would be safe with us — and Wild Rose still visits from time to time before disappearing into the wind again.
Sophie is her mother’s image — the same breathtaking fur and striking beauty — but with a heart devoted to people. She melts into cuddles, seeks affection, and turns her wild elegance into pure, irresistible tenderness.

Taz (adopted)
A family found tiny Taz trapped in a hole in their house wall — just two weeks old and struggling to survive. They bottle-fed him and helped him grow into a sweet, loving young boy. Sadly, due to a dog and severe cat-fur allergy, they couldn’t keep him.
That’s when Paws of Hope Rescue Turkey stepped in. Now safely fostered by Chloe, Taz is showing his wonderful, gentle personality and is ready for a forever home.

Totoro (adopted)
Meet Totoro- Once a baby raising babies in Nevşehir, Totoro was left unwanted after her kittens found homes. We couldn’t let her face cruelty and harsh winters, so she became part of our Paws of Hope family.
She’s social, playful, and full of joy—a fast adopter waiting for someone to see her with the same love we do.
Could Totoro be your soulmate?

They were once forgotten.
Now they are forever loved.

Melek (Sh.) (adopted)
Meet Melek (Angel)...She is a 1.5-year-old female dog who was found as a tiny puppy on the roadside, just moments away from being hit by a car. Saved in time, she grew into an energetic, loving, and social girl who gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children—and is now waiting for the home she truly deserves. All her paperwork is ready and she can travel even tomorrow.

Benek (adopted)
Benek was trapped in one of Turkey’s worst shelters, suffering in silence. Rescuing him was a battle—made even harder by cruel new laws designed to block adoptions instead of supporting them. But we refused to give up. Against all odds, we got him out. Today, Benek is safe, happy, and thriving—a gentle soul who radiates warmth, gratitude, and unwavering friendship.

Teddy (adopted)
Teddy came from Sultangazi Municipality Shelter, carrying fears we may never fully understand. When she arrived, she was skin and bones and afraid of every human touch. Yet beneath that fear lives a gentle and kind soul.
We are slowly teaching Teddy that not every hand hurts. Her sweet face and deeply sad eyes remind us every day how much she deserves a chance.
Teddy is looking for a patient and compassionate adopter who will give her the time and safety she needs to learn how to trust again.

Puffy (adopted)
These precious puppies were an unexpected surprise, born to a rescued mama who was never meant to give birth again.
Innocent and full of love, they came into a world that wasn’t ready for them — but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the best.
Now, we’re fighting to give them the future every little heart should have.

Sebekcan (adopted)
We found her trembling behind the cold bars of an awful government shelter, quietly reaching her tiny paws through the wire as if asking someone to notice her. She was scared, shy, and completely overwhelmed.
But underneath that fear was the gentlest, most loving soul.
Sebekcan is a calm, sensitive dog who simply wants to feel safe and close to her people. She is also full of character — her expressions, the way she looks at you, the intelligence in her eyes… she notices everything. There is something truly special about her.
Whoever adopts Sebekcan will be a very lucky person.

Nevaro (adopted)
Nevaro’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience—found beside his brother after tragedy struck, he refused to leave his side. Now healed and full of love, this gentle, social soul is ready to find a family who will never leave him behind. Nevaro establishes an incredible bond with the people and the dogs are around him. Such a big dog with the softest heart...

Nocci (adopted)
Nocci was saved from Nevşehir Municipality Shelter after we spotted his gentle face and injured paw behind the fence. He’s a young, sweet-natured dog who clearly once knew life in a home before ending up alone in a cold shelter. His paw will soon be treated, and then he’ll be ready for the warm, loving family he truly deserves.

Yuzu (adopted)
Yuzu was saved at the very last moment after his owner was deported and the landlord sent him toward Esenyurt Shelter. Scared, shy, and unsure of the world, even his little tail wags timidly. He now needs time to heal, and in about a month he’ll be ready for adoption. Open your heart to Yuzu — he deserves a gentle, loving home. He is 11 kg of love!

Kocakulak (adopted)
Meet Kocakulak — the tiniest dog with the biggest ears and an even bigger heart. He was heartbroken at the shelter, crying for the people who left him behind… until we picked him up and showed him love again. Now he’s a cheerful, cat-loving, tail-wagging bundle of joy looking for a forever home!
