Bıyıklı came to our cat pension as a beloved guest, but after just one month, her adopter gave up on her and asked us to release her. How could we possibly do that, knowing how harsh and unforgiving the streets of a vast metropolis like Istanbul can be? We promised her a safe and loving home, yet she remains uncertain, as if she struggles to believe in the hope we hold for her. A bit nervous and unsure, she carries a quiet sadness, making her the most sorrowful presence in our pension, still waiting for the love and security she truly deserves.

Selective, loyal, and full of character. Bıyıklı doesn’t give her heart to everyone — but when she chooses her person, she loves with complete devotion. In many ways she is like a little dog: loyal, attentive, and deeply bonded to the one she trusts.
She is also quite chatty and enjoys communicating with her people, sharing little conversations throughout the day. Independent at first, but once that connection is made, Bıyıklı becomes affectionate, devoted, and wonderfully attached to her human — a very special cat for someone who appreciates a deep, personal bond.
