About

Bonibon

Bonibon’s story is truly heartbreaking. She has been abandoned not once, but twice.

After rescuing her, we found what seemed like the perfect home. Her family genuinely loved her, cared for her deeply, and Bonibon became completely attached to them. She followed her humans from room to room, slept beside them on their pillows, and simply wanted to be close to the people she loved. She was loved and cared for 4 years!

Then life changed for Bonibon when a new baby joined the family.

Bonibon and the baby were actually getting along well, but somewhere along the way, stress and urinary issues appeared. Whether it was emotional stress, bad timing, or a medical reason still being investigated, we may never fully know. What we do know is that her family decided they could no longer keep her.

Now Bonibon is back at the pension, surrounded by many cats again, and the sadness in her is impossible to miss. She is gentle and friendly with other cats, but she has become quiet and withdrawn. Once a cat experiences the comfort of a loving home, it is always much harder to return to shelter life.

At the moment, Bonibon is under medical supervision to rule out any physical causes for her urinary issues. But deep in our hearts, we truly believe that in a calm, loving home — where she feels safe, cherished, and emotionally secure again — Bonibon will thrive.

She is not a “problem cat.”
She is simply a sensitive, loyal soul who loved deeply, lost everything twice, and is desperately hoping not to lose her chance at happiness again.

Personality:

Bonibon is the kind of cat who should never be “just a cat” in someone’s life — she becomes family. Calm, affectionate, and full of love, she deeply bonds with her humans and wants nothing more than attention, closeness, and to feel included in everyday life. She follows you quietly around the house, sleeps beside you, and looks at people with the kind of devotion that breaks your heart once you know her story.

She gets along well with children and people in general, and she has absolutely no aggression on any grounds. Bonibon is a gentle, sensitive soul who simply wants to love and be loved. She should be kept strictly indoors, where she feels safe, protected, and emotionally secure.
