About
Damali
Damali once lived the life of many street cats in Istanbul — surviving day by day, eating scraps, and keeping his distance from the noisy, chaotic world around him. He was shy and cautious, as street life often teaches them to be. When the streets are your home, staying aloof is often the only way to stay safe.
A kind woman had been feeding Damali for some time, always respecting the distance he needed. One day she noticed something was terribly wrong. Damali could no longer stand properly — when he tried, he lost his balance and collapsed. She gently caught him and rushed him to a veterinary clinic.
Damali spent six long months there, fighting quietly but bravely. And he chose life.
Before returning him to the streets, the woman wanted to give him one last chance — a chance to find a real home. She made a small post about him, hoping someone might see it.
By pure luck, we came across that post — with no likes and no shares.
Now we hope Damali’s story will finally reach the person meant for him. A patient, loving home where someone understands just how special tuxedo cats are. Because the ones who have struggled the most on the streets often become the most grateful, deeply connected companions once they finally feel safe.
