About

Giro

Giro was just another stray cat trying to survive on the streets when we found him—weak, disoriented, and clearly very sick. He had neurological FIP, a devastating and often fatal illness. Most cats don’t make it. But Giro did.
Thanks to intensive treatment, round-the-clock care by Tarabya Vet Life, and his own remarkable will to live, Giro pulled through. Today, he’s a survivor. Though he’s fully recovered from the disease, Giro carries a couple of small reminders of his past. His head now tilts slightly to the left, and due to nerve damage, his left eyelids no longer close. But if anything, these quirks only add to his charm. His tilted head gives him a curious, forever-inquisitive look, and despite the permanent nerve effects, he lives comfortably and without pain. His story is one of resilience, healing, and hope. He may look a little different—but his heart, his playfulness, and his ability to love are as whole as ever.
