They all came from the Nevşehir Municipality shelter.
We were already overcrowded and said we could take only four. But for the others, our “no” would have meant death—so four became eleven.
Each of them was once someone’s cat. Bought, maybe given as a gift, once wanted. Then abandoned.
They ended up on cold cement floors, without food, light, or hope. Many were skin and bones, suffering from severe infections and the heavy stress of neglect.
By a small miracle, their viral tests came back negative.
Now they are finally safe. And now it’s time to help them forget the past—
to heal, to trust again, and to start a life they always deserved.
