Marty came from Nevşehir Municipality Shelter — a place no cat should ever have to endure.
He is a British Longhair, a breed for which people often pay thousands. Yet somehow, this beautiful, purebred cat ended up abandoned in a municipal shelter, fighting just to stay safe.
When we saw him, his thick, luxurious coat could not hide the confusion in his eyes. One day he had a home. The next, he was just another cage number.
We took him out of there.
Now safe, Marty is slowly settling again. He has the calm, dignified nature typical of his breed — gentle, quiet, and composed. But what he truly needs is not status or money.
He needs a stable, loving home where he will never be discarded again.
Marty’s story is a reminder: a cat’s worth is not in his price — it is in his heart.
