About
Monroe
Monroe never suffered on the streets — but his mummy did.
His mother was one of the most stunning yet truly feral cats we’ve ever met. And still, she chose the garden of our pension as a safe place to give birth, trusting us in her own wild way.
When her four babies were born, we gently moved the little family into a closed, protected area to keep them safe. All four kittens were breathtakingly beautiful… but only one of them, Monroe, wasn’t feral. While his siblings hissed during feedings and never allowed a single cuddle without a “punishment,” Monroe was different from the very beginning.
When spring arrived and the kittens were three months old, we gave the family the freedom to choose — to stay or to return to the life their mother knew. One by one, all of them drifted away… except Monroe.
Monroe chose us.
He chose safety, softness, and trust.
As if he had been born from a different mother altogether.
He has grown into the calmest, sweetest, most affectionate little soul. And because he chose to stay, we made him a promise: to find him a loving home worthy of his gentle heart...
