Before Pix and Pixel were born, their mother Pixie was desperately searching for a safe place to bring her babies into the world. A shy, semi-feral cat with little trust in humans, she somehow found her way to us just in time.

Pixie gave birth to six kittens, but heartbreakingly only four survived. Then came another challenge: a long battle with ringworm that kept the entire family in treatment for months. Thankfully, those difficult days are now behind them, and everyone is healthy and ready for a fresh start.

Pix and Pixel, however, seem to have inherited very little of their mother's cautious nature. These two gorgeous black kittens are affectionate, social, and completely comfortable around people. They are playful, curious, and full of the joyful confidence that every kitten should have.

Knowing how difficult it can be for black cats to find homes in Turkey, we decided not to return them to a shelter environment. Instead, they are growing up in a loving foster home, where their foster mum describes them as simply amazing. But their time is up at foster home. 

After such a difficult beginning, Pix and Pixel deserve a future filled with love, safety, and a family who will see just how special they truly are.
