Totoro

Totoro’s story began as a desperate cry for help from Nevşehir. Still just a baby herself, she gave birth to four kittens. Her little ones were lucky—they all found loving homes. But Totoro, their gentle young mother, was left behind. Nobody wanted her.

A kind local volunteer couldn’t bear the thought of releasing her back into a city where cruelty runs deep and winters are unforgiving. So Totoro became part of our Paws of Hope family—a decision we will never regret.

Totoro is a gem of a cat: deeply social, endlessly playful, and full of joy. She wins hearts quickly, and we know she’ll be a fast adopter. We just hope someone will see her the way we do—through eyes of love and hope.
