When the abandoned Kangal puppies arrived at our place in Gebze, all of them reacted differently to the world around them. Some ran toward us immediately, desperate for attention and comfort. And then there was Aslan.
Quietly standing a little behind his siblings, observing everything with careful eyes.
Aslan is not the kind of puppy who throws himself into strangers’ arms within seconds. He likes to take his time. He watches first, thinks first, and decides in his own way when he feels safe. There is something incredibly special and intelligent about that quiet character of his.
For now, his greatest happiness seems to be simple things: staying close to his siblings, finding a cozy corner to relax, and getting excited over food — especially if chicken is involved.
Aslan is a Kangal mix, and he already carries the calm strength and noble spirit this breed is known for. He will grow into a large, powerful dog who needs space, understanding, and people who truly appreciate the unique nature of Kangals. A home with a garden and humans willing to build trust patiently would be ideal for him.
Once Aslan gives his heart to someone, he will be fiercely loyal for life. The kind of dog who quietly watches over his family, stays close to the people he loves, and would do absolutely anything to keep them safe.
