About

Dean

In mid-May, a brutal massacre took place at Bursa Osmangazi Shelter — thousands of innocent dogs were killed. Animal lovers and activists cried out in protest, but who in power truly hears our voices?

When the scandal was exposed, only around 100 dogs were left alive. Among the survivors were Dean and Dane, rescued just in time alongside two of their friends — pulled out from hell itself, from certain death.

In the beginning, they were extremely sick. Honestly, we did not think they would survive. But they proved us wrong… and we have never been happier to be wrong.

The more we get to know them, the harder it becomes to understand how such beautiful souls ended up in a place like that.

Dean is full of personality and love. Between the two brothers, he is the one who craves human attention the most. He does not enjoy sharing affection — not because of food aggression, but because he simply wants all the love for himself. With some dogs, he can be a little rough, though with most he gets along well. But with people? He is absolutely incredible.

Dean would make an amazing companion and a wonderful guard dog for a family with a big garden. He is strong and protective, yet at the same time like a playful child desperate for games and a cuddly cat constantly asking for belly rubs.

A truly unforgettable dog, waiting for someone to finally see just how special he is.
