Welcome, Mango

One morning in Gebze, we opened our gate and found six tiny Kangal puppies left there. Just babies. No mother around. Hungry enough to throw themselves at the food bowls the moment they saw them.

One of them was Mango.

She is only around three months old, but there is something unusually sad in her eyes. The way she looks at people feels older somehow — like she is still trying to understand what happened to her and why she ended up abandoned at such a young age.

And still, she wants affection.

She comes close slowly, as if she wants to trust you, but you can see the hesitation in her at the same time. Like part of her is still unsure whether humans are safe. It is heartbreaking to see that kind of doubt in such a young puppy.

But despite everything, her softness is still there.

We hope one day Mango finds someone who looks into those thoughtful eyes and sees exactly what we see.
