About
Nazli (M.)
Nazlı was born and raised on the streets of Istanbul, living peacefully among her canine friends and known throughout her neighborhood for her gentle, kind nature. She is not a typical street dog. She is deeply empathetic, affectionate, and quietly devoted to the people around her, often asking for love with a soft paw tap or a small whine when she wants attention. In January 2025, her life changed when she lay beneath a parked car for warmth and a motorcycle ran over her foot. One toe was amputated, and an elbow dislocation was missed at the time. That joint later fused, leaving her with a permanent limp. While this does not affect her quality of life, it makes the streets far more dangerous for her. Because Nazlı walks without caution, she has suffered multiple serious injuries from broken glass over the past year. As her safety became increasingly at risk, the decision was made to place her in a boarding facility while she waits for a home. Nazlı is fully house trained, exceptionally gentle, and wonderful with people, children, and other dogs, especially calm companions. She cannot live with cats and tends to trust women most easily. Despite everything she has endured, she remains unbelievably sweet, affectionate, and hopeful, still waiting for the safe and loving home she deserves.
