Popsi (adopted)
Popsi was rescued at the very last moment from a cruel situation in a small village in Nevşehir.
We received a heartbreaking message from the wife of her adopter, begging us to help. Popsi had apparently chased a chicken while trying to play, and her husband had decided to shoot her because of it. It sounds unbelievable, but sadly, this is still the reality for many animals.
When Popsi arrived to us, we expected her to be traumatised, fearful, maybe even aggressive after everything she had been through.
But Popsi surprised us all.
She is one of the softest, gentlest little souls you could ever meet. She loves cats, dogs, and every human she comes across. She hardly ever barks, never causes trouble, and simply wants to be loved quietly. Honestly, if she chased that chicken, we are certain it was only to play.
There is not a single bad bone in this tiny girl’s body. Popsi could never hurt another living being.
Now Popsi needs what she never truly had before — a safe, loving home where nobody will ever make her afraid again.

Popsi has one of the softest personalities we have ever seen in a rescue dog. She is calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle with everyone around her — people, dogs, and even cats.
Despite everything she has been through, Popsi carries no anger or fear. She approaches life quietly, with this sweet and innocent energy that immediately melts your heart. She hardly ever barks, never looks for conflict, and simply wants to feel safe and loved.
What makes Popsi special is her purity. There is something deeply kind and trusting about her, as if she still believes the world can be good despite how badly humans failed her before.
