Rei means “fresh start” in Japanese—a perfect name for this brave soul who has known only cruelty. When we found him, he was nothing but skin and bones, terrified and broken. Yet, despite his fear, he never showed aggression; instead, he tried to disappear, avoiding even the gaze of humans.
In Turkey, all dogs suffer, but for breeds like his, the hardship is unimaginable. Rei deserves a true fresh start—a chance to experience kindness, warmth, and love. He is wise, gentle, and full of quiet resilience. So far, life has been unkind to him, but you can be the one to change that.
