Scarlet

Some dogs don’t just arrive into your life—they carry a past that quietly asks to be witnessed.

Scarlet grew up in a neighborhood around İstinye Park, a large shopping mall in Istanbul. The volunteers there knew her well. She was a peaceful, gentle dog who was regularly fed and quietly loved by the people in the area, always moving through the world with a soft, unassuming grace.

Sadly, not everyone showed her kindness.

A few cruel individuals began to harass Scarlet, deliberately provoking their own dogs and setting them on her, treating her like something they could use for their amusement. One day, a kind woman witnessed this and could not look away. She stepped in immediately, took Scarlet with her, and reached out to us for help. Of course, we couldn’t refuse.

Since that day, Scarlet has been safe with us. She is now protected and allowed to simply exist in peace. Every day, she surprises us more with her gentle heart—calm, affectionate, and deeply loving, despite everything she has endured. There is an innocence in her that quietly touches everyone who meets her.

Scarlet is truly a little angel who deserved so much better from the world—and is now finally waiting for the life she should have had all along.
