About
Yabba (M.)
Yabba’s life changed more than once before he ever had a chance to understand it. He was first found in the forest with an injured leg and taken in, where he was raised in a home and learned what safety, routine, and care felt like. He grew up believing that was his life. But at just seven months old, Yabba was abandoned and left on the streets. The transition was devastating for him. Yabba was never meant to be a street dog, and the streets have not been kind. He has struggled to adapt and has been injured multiple times while trying to survive in an environment he does not understand. Despite everything, he remains trusting, social, and eager for connection. Yabba does well with other dogs, especially female dogs, and enjoys companionship. He is not able to live with cats. He is wonderful with people and children and seeks interaction with enthusiasm and joy. His happiest moments are simple ones playing fetch, chewing on bones, and being included. Yabba is a dog who knows what home feels like and longs for it again. He deserves stability, safety, and a family who will never abandon him.
